Class of 2009 Grad Parade!!
Even though we have lived in this town for almost 5 years we have yet had the pleasure of attending the CSS and WL highschools' grad parade. This year we changed that by attending and watching many of Tim's friends in Grade 12 participate. This is a big event in town. Many of Williams Lakes citizens come out to watch the grads parade by in various modes of transportation. This year there were mini bikes, ATV's, boats, horse and buggies, horses, graders, pickup trucks, new vehicles, classic vehicles, questionnable vehicles...you name it...they were in the parade.
Hearty congratulations go out to....Joel Wiebe, Brady Fuller, Travis Flaherty, Luke Hannas, Byron Kurkenimi, Nathan Stewart, Michael Piderman, Trevior Gustafson, and the rest of the Class of 2009. The Zwiers family wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
NOTE: not too many girls in this list....I guess that's what happens when all you have is boys who play sports and don't have much time for anything else.

14 days......but who's counting!!
Sunday, May 31, 2009
Sunday, Sunday!!
Saturday had us hosting a garage sale with some great friends of ours. What a great way to spend time with friends....we sit outside and drink coffee...chat with neighbours....sell our stuff we no longer need....wonder why we collect so much....make money....and finish off the successful day with a drink on the deck gazing at the lake and city lights!! Amazing!
But, one sad note on the garage sale....we sold our tent trailer that we have had for 12 years. Lots of fabulous family memories made in that trailer.....lots of amazing family vacations....trips....and just spectacular times....hard to let it go...but we are on a new stage in our family life! We no longer have a vehicle to pull it....boys are getting older with their own activites and volunteer time during the summer that we just were not using like we had. One year we spent 65 nights in the tent trailer. Erik used the tent trailer as a home when he moved to Williams Lake 5 months before us. But last year there were only 10 days!! That's it.... It is time for another young family to feel the magic of camping in a fabulous tent trailer.
Sunday consisted of .... church (all)....show and shine (all)....lunch (all)....bike ride (DS1, DS2 and friends)....hospital (DS1, DS2 and friends)....rep soccer game (DS3)....rep soccer meeting (mom).....rep soccer practice (DS1).....laundry (mom)....roller hockey game (DS2).....Stanley Cup Playoffs on TV (mom)...roller hockey game (DS1 and Dad)....
